A respite services organisation in Cork is hiring a highly-motivated CNM2/PIC to join their team in Co Cork

Role:
Respite Services CNM 2 PIC will be responsible for the overall management of Respite Services for adults in across residential and non-residential, centre and community based settings. This role includes PIC responsibility for the residential respite service
the management of staff and providing the highest standards of residential respite and alternative respite services and and home support
Responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of policies and procedures supporting best care and practice in disability services.
The main responsibilities include working in partnership with families, resource management, ensuring a safe effective service to service users, staff development, standard setting and monitoring, facilitating communication and managing staff teams to deliver the service. The post holder will also have a lead role in the management and monitoring of risk and safeguarding across adult respite and day services.
Hold a recognised validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Nursing.
Are registered in the relevant division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland [NMBI] or entitled to be so registered
AND
Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification full-time experience of which a minimum of 3 years are in the field of disability
AND
Have a recognised appropriate qualification in health or social care management
AND
Have a minimum of 3 years working at a senior level, or in a supervisory capacity
Demonstrate the ability to provide staff supervision training and development.
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.
Hold a full, clean driving license
Demonstrate a clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
