A leading private hospital group, are currently recruiting Clinical Nurse Managers and Staff Nurses for their facilities in in Dublin North

Clinical Nurse Specialist, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (CNSp IBD)

Our client a hospital based in Dublin North is currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Medical Day Services ( Infusions ).

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the Medical Day Services, Infusion Clinics and Venesection clinics. Ensuring a patient focused, efficient and quality care service to patients. This will require active participation in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care delivery within a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Patients attending Medical Day Services often require complex multi-disciplinary
care The CNM II role is pivotal in providing this nursing care.
* To manage referrals from the Consultants, allocating patients appointments with the
support of the Medical Day Services administration team.

* To participate in quality improvement measures, in line with, JCI
* To ensure Hospital policies and procedures are known, understood and adhered to by
all staff.
* Management of staff rostering system and ensuring adequate staff cover while
managing annual leave.
* To conduct staff performance review and monitor staff competency.
* To act as a deputy for the CNM III in her absence.

Clinical Focus:
* To provide nursing expertise to patients, their families and the hospital staff.
* Supervising assessment and documentation and management of patient's toxicity's
developing a plan of care and follow up.
* Supervise the maintenance of confidential, accurate and complete patient records.

Experience required:
* Must have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience, including a minimum of
2 years experience in the specialist area or similar environment.
* Teaching and Assessing Course
* Display evidence of continuing professional development
* Expressed interest in teaching and mentorship
* Demonstrate IT skills
* Demonstrate experience in personal and professional development of staff

CNM and Nurse Roles - Private Hospital Dublin North

Staff Nurse requirements;

NMBI membership, or Registration to be in process.
A minimum 2 year's post registration experience
Candidates interested in applying for a Staff Nurse role must be available to cover all shifts, i.e. Night Duty, Long Days and Weekends as required.

Clinical Nurse Manager requirements:

Be registered, or eligible for registration in the General Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by NMBI.
A minimum of five years' experience as a staff nurse in a relevant setting is required.
At least two years' experience in a management position desirable.
It is desirable to have completed a recognised post-registration course relative to specialty
Have completed a Management Course or commit to undertake same
Display evidence of continuing professional development.
Demonstrate an awareness of HR policies and procedures
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential.
Have experience in change management
