Are you an experienced Consultant Dermatologist looking for a new challenge?
We are currently representing a prestigious and expanding dermatology service provider in Ireland that is actively seeking a talented professional to join their team.
Role Summary:
Reporting to the Medical Director/Chief Operations Officer, the Consultant Dermatologist will play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of all skin and skin-related conditions in adults and children.
The ideal candidate should have a substantive Paediatric Consultant post-experience, be fully IMC registered or hold GMC registration, and possess excellent general dermatology skills. Additional expertise in skin cancer screening and surgery is preferable.
This position can be 3 days or 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of a pediatric dermatology unit.
* Support the introduction of subspecialist clinics, including those for pediatric
patients.
* Build and lead a nursing team to support high-volume pediatric clinics and patient education.
* Attend multidisciplinary meetings and specified times at the healthcare facility.
* Deliver diagnostic services via Teledermatology and face-to-face clinics.
* Cover for other Department Consultants during short-term absences.
Key Requirements:
* Registration with IMC or GMC (Irish Medical Council registration will be required).
* Dermoscopy experience is advantageous or a willingness to upskill.
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
* Commitment to delivering excellent patient-focused care.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Competent computer skills and IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
