Our client, a prominent nursing home group, is seeking a Head of Quality to lead and oversee the quality function efficiently. This role involves providing service and assistance to the Operations Team in their pursuit of delivering top-tier, person-centered care to residents and clients.


The Head of Quality is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Quality Management System per ISO 9001 standards. This entails establishing clear quality objectives and action plans, crafting, implementing, and revising evidence-based policies and procedures, determining and evaluating an agreed audit program, and analysing predefined quality indicators and datasets. The ultimate goal is to ensure continuous improvement in service quality and effective management of risks and opportunities.


Job Objectives:

* Maintain ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System for improved compliance and client experience.
* Assist in regulatory monitoring and trend analysis for continuous improvement.
* Develop and review audit program for operational effectiveness.
* Ensure timely, high-quality reporting, including CSR reporting.
* Coordinate evidence-based policy development.
* Facilitate a multidisciplinary risk management approach.
* Support efficient complaints management and learning.
* Conduct customer surveys and action plan development.
* Drive CSR initiatives and local transformation plans.


Requirements:


* A registered General Nurse on the Register of Nurses held by the Nursing and Midwifery
Board of Ireland.
* Minimum of 5 years in a Director of Nursing role
* Evidence of successfully leading and managing change in older persons' residential care
setting
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
* Proficient IT Skills
* Excellent report-writing skills
* Full, clean driving license


Desirable:

* Masters or higher qualification in a management or healthcare-related field
* Evidence of developing and implementing strong quality management systems and practices across multidisciplinary teams
