Key Account Manager Air Freight

Our client a Global leading logistics company are looking to recruit a Key Account Manager
for their Air Freight division. Responsible for managing and developing existing accounts.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Account Management
Ensure management of named accounts with achievement of call targets agreed.
Ensure Account management plan and profile is in place for each account.
Ensure proper SOP's and account credit limits are in place for each account.
Ensure Full compliance with current standards for ISO, AEO, IMB and other relevant regimes.
Ensure all activity is logged and managed in the ACT database.
Design and manage a quality review process for each account with agreed KPI's and review periods.
Retention accounts
Ensure management of the agreed retention account list with minimum call targets reached.
Ensure weekly meetings with department managers to agree customer visits.
Ensure all activity is logged and managed in the ACT database.
Sales Support
Ensure full support to sales for bids and campaigns to aid business development.
Ensure all leads and development information are passed to the correct persons.
Support sales to ensure smooth transition of accounts between sales and operations.

Qualifications required

Relevant 3rd level qualification

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Minimum four years work experience in a similar or related role.

Previous experience in the logistics/transport sector.
