On behalf of our client, a prestigious nursing home in Co. Cork, we are looking to recruit a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join their culinary team.
Our client's nursing home is committed to providing exceptional care and creating a warm, welcoming environment for residents. As a Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that the residents receive nutritious and delicious meals every day.
Role Overview:
Position: Kitchen Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week, consisting of 4 x 10-hour shifts
Location: County Cork
Requirements:
Have previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
HACCP training.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Have a passion for providing high-quality service and support to our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals.
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
* Following HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety at all times.
* Supporting the Kitchen Supervisor and team members as needed.
* Contributing to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.
