Our client based in South Dublin are looking for a Pharmacy Technician.

The ideal candidate will have 2 PQE experience in either a Hospital or Community position

The ideal candidate will be an innovative, enthusiastic professional who demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation while displaying flexibility and ability to adapt to change to join a pharmacy team of three.

Key Qualifications & Competencies:

Pharmacy Technician certification/ equivalent science degree - Certification in different areas of Pharmacy
Proven problem solving ability
Excellent administration skills
Excellent computer skills, proficient in excel, word, and outlook
Good communication skills with both patients and professional staff.
Effective decision making skills
Collaborate with homecare and logistics departments; work with multidisciplinary teams within the Company and within the HSE, primary care settings and pharma companies.
Relevant hospital experience with a good understanding of injectable medicines
Good knowledge on drugs, medical procedures and therapies, diagnosis and disease states.
Skills in working with technical automated equipment and information systems.
Strict Quality Focus

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain patient profiles by entering patient and order information into the pharmacy system
Order, label, and check stock of medications and supplies, and enter inventory data into system.
Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supervisors of stock needs and shortages.
Accurately and efficiently preparing prescription orders and verify prescription information is complete and accurate
Providing quality customer service to patients and other healthcare providers
Provide collaborative pharmaceutical care with staff pharmacists
