We have several opportunities at all levels for a Radiographer with a hospital in Wexford, Ireland.

Radiographer

The Radiology Department provides General Radiography, Emergency X-rays, Mobile X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound and CT with a hospital wide RIS/PACS (NIMIS). The Radiology Department provides a highly efficient and effective service both within the hospital and for primary and community services. On-call services are provided out-of-hours for the 24 hour Emergency Department, In-Patients and CT.
The Radiology department staff complement includes Consultant Radiologists, Radiography Services Manager, Clinical Specialist Radiographers, Senior Radiographers, Staff Grade Radiographers, Nurse, Radiography Assistant and Clerical staff.

Reporting Relationship Reports to Radiography Services Manager or designated manager.

Purpose of the Post
To carry out Radiographic duties in line with department protocols.

Objectives of the Post
To support the Radiology team in Providing High Quality Safe Healthcare.

Qualifications, experience and knowledge
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/)
And
Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
And
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.
Maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
2021 Undergraduates
Candidates who are graduating in 2021 are eligible to apply for this campaign.

Radiographer
There are a number of permanent posts at all levels which are full time (37 hours).

Qualifications and experience

Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/)
Have 3 years fulltime (or an aggregate of 3 years) post qualification clinical experience.
A recognised post graduate qualification in Ultrasound. Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in Ultrasound as relevant to the role.
Demonstrate experience in providing a preliminary written report / digital dictation
for the on-site/off-site Radiologist.
