Exciting Opportunity- 4 Star Hotel Killarney, Co. Kerry!

We are looking for an organized Weddings Manager to manage the wedding business in the hotel. To assist in the promotion, advertising and selling of our hotel and to create competitive advantages for us. The Weddings Manager represents the company's brand and drives strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends.

A minimum of three years' experience in Wedding Co-ordination is required.

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Generating Wedding Sales and handling all communications with existing and prospective couples.

Maintaining a positive and up to date image of the hotel across all platforms, including local and national print, social media, point of sale within the hotel, the hotels own website and OTA's.

Function sales including communions, confirmations, and other such special occasions/gatherings.

Represent the hotel at shows, trade events and sales trips in a professional manner.

Assisting in the preparation and execution of a sales and marketing budget and plan, based on forecasted sales which will be provided, in conjunction with the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Establishing and monitoring sales plans across all departments.

The Ideal candidate must have:

a proven track record of making sales and the ability to gauge their own success in this area.
experience with Rezlynx or another PMS
experience with Photoshop and Adobe will set you apart from other candidates.
strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
knowledge of data analysis and report writing.
the ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
the ability to work under pressure
